God Bless America! We've had a wonderful Fourth of July weekend this year. One thing we did is that we took the kids to the lake to see the fireworks yesterday. We had a great view from Mom and Dad's, and it was our first time to watch them at their new house. What fun! Watermelon, family, and a fireworks display. What a great country we live in!!! Just feeling so thankful right now. Jody took some photos of the kids watching the fireworks but they would not stop moving.

Magic Springs
This weekend we went to Jody's company picnic at Magic Springs. The kids were really looking forward to it, and we all had a blast! The water park made the heat a little easier to deal with and we all had a fun. The kids love to go down the water slides in the kiddie pool and then of course they wanted to play some games and ride some rides. Sarah was soooo happy and proud because she was finally old enough to ride the lady bug ride!!! That is all she talked about and was not satisfied until she got to ride it. Thank goodness she met the height requirement (last summer she was not allowed to ride it even with her Daddy). Kids do not forget! We were all wearing matching T-shirts so we could not resist having our photo taken.

Preschool Graduation
Today our little boy took a big step--he graduated from preschool! What a wonderful and happy day it was for all of us. This class of 14 boys and girls have been together for the past two years (at least most of them). They have grown together and learned so much! Mrs. Kie said more than once in the past couple of months, "There's nothing else for me to teach them!" and "They are ready for kindergarten". It was just precious to watch them walk across that bridge today and get their diplomas--so symbolic and sweet. Mama cried a little bit, but it was so gratifying and amazing to watch them. They are growing up and have so much to look forward to. We cannot wait to see what next year brings! Congrats Trev!

Playin' ball and fire safety
Trevor has really enjoyed playing baseball this year, and we have all enjoyed going to his games. He still has great enthusiam for the game, so that makes it fun for all of us! His preschool also went to the fire station today, which was lots of fun. Firemen are still probably his biggest heroes, so seeing real firemen at the station with all of their gear was pretty cool. Of course, Mom and little sis got to tag along so sister got her photo taken with the ladder truck too!
