Tooth Fairy Time

Trevor lost his first tooth today and we are expecting the tooth fairy tonight! He's so excited about going to school tomorrow and showing some of his friends. About half of the kids in his class have already lost a tooth.

Preschool Pumpkin Patch

Sarah's preschool class took a trip to the pumpkin patch. Trevor did not go but his class is going to a pumpkin patch in a couple of weeks. So it was just us girls. It was her first field trip with her preschool class and her first time to wear her preschool T-shirt. So, she felt like a big girl and had a blast! She really enjoyed the hay ride, maze, and playing with her friends around the tree house. Here are some photos from our fun day.

Soccer and the County Fair

We had a busy weekend. Friday night we took the kids to the county fair with their cousins. It took all 5 adults to keep up with those 4 kids!!! Except for the heat it was great! The kids rode rides we never thought they would and really had fun. Trevor even rode the ferris wheel and went in the haunted house. Of course, when he came out he said, "I don't ever want to do that again!" He was a little spooked.
On Saturday, Trevor had his first soccer game for the fall season. We are playing with a new club and so far we really like it! Trevor really did well, scoring about 6 goals or so (we lost count but GiGi says it was 6!). He really seemed to enjoy it and gain confidence with every goal. His Papaw Tuck and our friend GiGi came to watch so that was great. It was funny because Friday he wore a Benton shirt to school and Saturday he was wearing Bryant blue. Oh well. We really like the coach and he has some great team mates. The game rules are a little different this year; they play 3 v 3 and without a goalie. Of course scoring is a little easier but both teams have that advantage. It was fun to watch him pass the ball and really use teamwork and some speed. He's growing up!
Saturday afternoon we went to Weston's back to school party and unfortunately Sunday Sarah got sick with a stomach bug. So we've been busy.

First Day of Preschool

Today was Sarah's first day of preschool. It's hard to believe our baby girl is going to school. She was so ready. She already knows her teacher and loves her. She has the same teacher Trevor did so it was an easy transition! She got to be "snack girl" the first day, so she got to sit in the front of the class and bring show and tell and the snacks for the day. She felt special and had a lot to tell us when she got home. We were so thankful she was happy and it was so easy!!! She had a lot of stories to tell us about her first day.

Rubber Ducks and Razorbacks

Today was all about painting. One of Sarah's favorite things is painting. She loves to get those painting books--the ones that look like coloring books but come with watercolor paints--and she will sit and paint an entire book in about an hour. We have been through so many of those. Another favorite thing are rubber duckies. Not sure why she has such a facination with them but she has always liked them. Well, we found a "paint your own rubber duck" set and of course she had to have it. The only problem is that I had to buy two so brother would have one when he got home from school (it's just easier to buy two sometimes instead of having to deal with the jealously later). She painted hers rainbow colors and named it Rainbow Dash Duck after Rainbow Dash from My Little Pony. Trevor is all into Batman right now, so his is Bat Duck which I thought was hilarious. Notice the mask and cape around its neck!
While we were in the middle of our painting project this afternoon, my friend Lindsey came by and brought the Razorback canvas she painted for our front door. I absolutely LOVE it! Go Hogs!!!
