Trevor's Valentine's Party for his kindergarten class was held on Monday, February 14th. They had an ice cream sundae party, complete with treat bags and all of the ice cream toppings anyone could possibly want. The kids all brought Valentines for their classmates and made Valentine folders, which turned out great, and are much easier to store than boxes. Some of the parents sent candy and other treats that were put in the treat bags. Mom and Dad both got to go and visit Trevor's party, and sister even got to eat a little bit of ice cream herself. Trevor had a good time until it was time for Mommy to leave. He was a little disappointed because he thought he was going to get to leave early too. One of the parents sent Valentine balloons which were put in the treat bags, and some of the boys got a little rowdy at the end of the party (from excitement and sugar, no doubt), so the teacher had to end things pretty quickly. Overall, the kids all seemed to have fun.

Happy 4th Birthday!
Well, it's hard to believe that it's been 4 years since our little girl entered our lives. She is beautiful, sweet, intelligent and outgoing. She loves to to put on lip gloss and dress up, but she also loves playing with her big brother. She is the perfect little girl and we love her so much! Life simply would not be complete without her.
Yesterday Sarah had a Tinkerbell birthday party with her friends and had so much fun! Afterwards, she was completely worn out, and so were Mommy and Daddy. Here she is waiting to blow out the candles. Love the look on her face as she anticipates the moment. More pictures will be posted later...

Snow Days
The kids had a blast this week playing in the snow! It's rare that we get over six inches of snow, without it melting right away. Trevor enjoyed two snow days without school and both kids spent some quality time with Dad. It was fun (and a little scary) watching our little dare devils sledding down the hill in our backyard on Mommy's old sled. Forget those new fancy plastic ones--this is a "Flying O" in perfect condition with the metal runners and all. Of course, Daddy had to create a barrier at the bottom of the hill and act as a human shield so they wouldn't slam into the house, but they had a blast and giggled hysterically. Oh to be a kid again!!!

Life's a Circus
We took the kids to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus last weekend. Here are some photos of that day plus a few others. Trevor's favorite thing at the circus was the man riding a motorcycle on a tight rope. The motorcycle was really loud and went right over our heads so it was pretty exciting for him. Sarah's favorite thing was the elephants of course, and she begged for us to have her picture taken on this plastic elephant after the show. Trevor was also recently invited to a cowboy themed birthday party for one of his classmates, and the kids dressed in cowboy/cowgirl outfits. They looked so cute that I had to take their photo. Sarah has enjoyed dressing up in some of my old Halloween costumes. So here's a hodge podge of photos to sum up the past month.
