Watch Dog Dad

Today Trevor was so excited because his Dad got to be a "Watch Dog Dad" at school. It also just happened to be the same day that the Kindergarteners were having their Thanksgiving Feast, so it was a great day for Dad to be at school! All of the Kindergarteners dressed up like pilgrims and Indians and sat around big tables to have a "feast". They have been learning about the first Thanksgiving all month. Trevor's Indian name was "Running Bear". All of their parents were invited to attend, and many of the parents helped out. It was so cute seeing the kids dressed up and enjoying themselves.

Fall Colors

We took the kids to Garvan Woodland Gardens last weekend and had a great time walking the trails and taking in the gorgeous fall colors! We also took some casual family photos since we haven't done that in a while. This photo is one of our favorites! The colors were exploding in the trees behind us. It was even more spectacular in person.

Jody recently returned from a business trip to China. While he was there, he bought these adorable outfits for Sarah. So cute!

Soccer and Halloween

We had a HUGE day. Today was the last soccer game of the season, followed by a team soccer party which we hosted. Afterwards, we came home and had just enough time to rest before we took the kids trick-or-treating with some of their friends. Whew! Trevor was so tired he went straight to bed and didn't even want to be read a bedtime story. So much fun!
Also, last Thursday Sarah had her preschool Halloween party and she went as Tinkerbell. Her 3-year-old class was so cute in their costumes!

Day Out With Thomas II

We took the kids to "A Day Out With Thomas" again this year in Rusk, TX. They really enjoyed it. Seeing their faces light up was worth the long drive! This year Ya-Ya and Papaw went with us, so it was that much more fun for all of us. Sarah was so cute and is just as much into Thomas the Train as big brother. (She knows all of the words to the theme song...)Neither of them wanted to leave when it was time to go. So glad we made the trip again this year, although it will probably be our last time. Great memories!
